Dress My Bear Fundraising in 4 easy steps:

PROMOTE AND COLLECT ORDERS

The First Step Involves Advertising The Fundraising Event And Distributing Order Forms To Potential Participants. This Could Be Within Schools, Clubs, Or Local Communities.

The Goal Here Is To Generate Interest And Gather Orders For The Custom Teddy Bears.

KIDS CREATE THEIR ARTWORK

In This Step, Children Participate By Creating Their Artwork. This Can Be Done In Various Settings Such As At School, At Home, During Club Meetings, Or Even At Local Market Stalls.

The Artwork They Create Is Intended To Be Used As The Design For The Teddy Bear's T-Shirt. You Can Also Choose To Put Photos Or Your Logo On The Teddy.

PLACE AN ORDER ONLINE

Once The Artwork Is Ready, The Next Step Is To Place An Order Online. Along With The Order, The Children's Artwork Is Submitted. This Artwork Is Then Used To Customise The Teddy Bears According To The Designs Created By The Kids.

DISTRIBUTION OF THE BEARS

Orders Take About 4 Weeks To Complete, But During Busier Times Or In Rural Locations, It Could Take Up To 6 Weeks.

The Children Will Then Receive Their Own Personalised Teddy Bears, Which They Helped Design.

Pricing

You decide on how much you will sell each bear and therefore control the amount of money your school can make. We do however, suggest a recommended retail price, which we sell our bears for individually through our online shop.

School's price: $27.95 for the regular Oscar Teddy Bear, and $29.95 for the graduation bear option. (+$2)

We recommend adding $10, which means a selling price of $37.95, giving the school a $10 profit for each teddy bear to spend on your much needed resources.

Our Teddy

Our teddy bear is a high quality soft toy conforming to Australian Safety Standards. It measures 25cm at a sitting height and is dressed in a white cotton blend t-shirt which will feature an image of your choice. Each t-shirt is printed in Australia.

Teddy Bear Options

Children are able to complete their artwork at school, as part of the curriculum, or at home. We will then transfer the artwork to the t-shirt with the child’s name and school year creating a personalised keepsake to be treasured for years to come. Alternatively, schools may choose to have the school logo or a photo printed on the t-shirt with or without the child’s name. Personalisable t-shirt designs are also available, where schools can put students names, and the year of graduating on the t-shirt. In addition, you can have the teddy bear dressed in a graduation hat and scroll, which makes for the ultimate personalised graduation gift.

School Fundraisers

Our school fundraisers are easy to organise. Decide on which option of teddy bear you prefer to use in your fundraiser and let us know via our contact form below or our order hotline. We will contact you and arrange to send out an order pack to get you started. Once you receive your pack, start promoting the fundraiser by sending out a fundraising information letter to parents and carers. Promote the fundraiser on the school website and newsletters and start to collect orders. It’s that easy.

Order and Payment

Once you have finished collecting the orders and payments, log onto our website and place the final order quantity. Our website will calculate the appropriate discount based on your order quantity. We accept credit cards, PayPal and direct deposit.

Delivery

Our normal delivery times are 2-4 weeks from the time we receive the completed artwork. You should allow up to 6 weeks during peak periods or if you are outside metropolitan areas.
